Biography

Ha Eun Jang (Grace) is a Korean artist and designer based in New York City. Raised between Korea and Hanoi, she's a senior at NYU studying Integrated Design and Media. With a strong background in Fine Arts, she works across interactive installations, VR, and motion-based coding. Her goal is to create inclusive, immersive experiences that connect technology, art, and design.

Her relationship with rain mirrors the way she has grown. Born Deaf, she experienced language not through sound, but through touch, sight, and sensation — like learning words by feeling the rain. Each drop became a form of communication, teaching her to perceive the world through texture and rhythm. Living in a world built around hearing, she has learned to fill the invisible gaps with what only she can see and feel.

Through her work, Ha Eun aspires to create inclusive designs that translate those unseen, often overlooked sensory experiences into shared understanding and beauty. She observes the world closely, drawing inspiration from everyday movement and emotion.
