Concept

During the pandemic, I spent much more time at home, and naturally, my habit of observing small details grew. One day, sunlight entered my room and the rays fell beautifully across my wall. When I reached out to touch them, the shadows looked as if they were playing the piano. That moment inspired me to experiment with code, editing, shadow, and light. In the video, I incorporated AI-assisted musical elements, blending them with my own editing and visual composition. This project also became a space for me to explore how AI-generated sound could interact with natural light and shadow. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt meaningful because it came directly from my own observation. I’m now expanding this idea into a larger project, developing a new version using coding and sensors to transform light and shadow into an interactive musical experience.
